Guest guest
Bobbi & I empathize with you about the people at work and the work itself. I started doing work almost immediately – even from the hospital. Just be careful not to do too much too quickly. Another thing that can happen is that people know you are working and you look better when they see you and they begin to wonder why you aren’t back to work. I had a great boss and he totally understood it all, but not everyone else at work did. Give yourself a break and take it easy for awhile. He's been talking to people from work this afternoon helping them out with various tasks. He misses the people he works with and, well, working! Hopefully he'll be up to doing some work from home in the next week or so. I can tell it lifts his spirits to feel like he's doing something useful. _._,___
Guest guest
Oh his coworkers have been amazing! I know it makes him feel better to feel productive. And it takes his mind off of everything else. As long as he's not pushing himself too hard too fast I'm ok with that.
Guest guest
Isn’t modern technology wonderful? I worked from the hospital last spring, and halftime from home for 2 months after my hip replacement in January 2008. Also in 2005 when my dad was dying the company let me work from his place in Oregon for 6 weeks while I helped take care of him. An understanding company and the technology to work from everywhere is a true Godsend. Nita ========= I empathize with you about the people at work and the work itself.
