Guest guest
, I know what you are going through, honey. With all my special needs kids, and the baggage they brought with them, and my own molestations at 4 and 14 (Yup, me too.), I know you are being put through the proverbial wringer right now. My prayers and thoughts are with you, honey. Loving hugs, MM

Guest guest
{{{{{{}}}}}}} You go, girl! That kid cannot be allowed to get away with the violence he inflicted on your little girl! And I can't imagine how any police official, hospital or anyone could allow this horrible crime to go unpunished. If this kid did the same to one of their daughters, they'd do things much differently, I expect! It's not right! I'm so glad you're all getting counseling and that your family is fighting for your daughter's rights. You remain in my prayers. -Anne

Guest guest
Hi , I'm new to this group and just now read the article about your daughter. I just want to say I'm so sorry this happened to your baby. I have a three year old daughter and I can't imagine how I would feel if anything like this ever happened to her. How long has it been since the assault? How is she doing now? And you & your husband? My prayers and thoughts are with you all. Guest guest
Yesterday we found out that 3 FELONY charges (1 molestation-because it gives more time then rape, 1 oral copulation, and 1 penetration with a foreign object)...these will all change to 2 counts of all of the above (since the kid did this twice to my daughter). The DA wants to ask for 9 years and 4 months in a juvenile detention center. I would like 3 months in juvenile detention center and 2 years in a home for sexual offenders (which has counseling), 100 hours of community service, and probation until he turns either 18 or 21. We have an attorney to take on our civil case. Sept. 7th is when the kid has to appear in court and since the POLICE DEPT. didn't call Child Protective Services on June 15th (when the crime took place) the DA is going to ask the judge to take the boy into custody until the hearing...which should have taken place MONTHS AGO. Thank you everyone for your prayers...now I pray that we get all the money we can get out of the kids parents because the parents are just as bad. They haven't even punished their son nor apologized to us. The parents are multi-millionaires too. The father is used to getting his way because he is so wealthy. I guess you could say he is the neighborhood bully. Blessings, In Cali
Guest guest
My daughter is in counseling now through our church (and the counselor is licensed). Lacey is more aggressive towards us (her parents). She still sleeps with me. She is still having nightmares. I'm going to start my counseling after Lacey gets going into hers for a while. This crime took place on June 15th. Thank you for your prayers. Keep them coming because we still have the civil suit against the parents (because they think this was nothing and never punished their son). They never even apologized to us or Lacey. That is unbelievable that they never apologized to you! I don't blame you for filing a civil suit. Sometimes that's the worst punishment for some people. Good luck, and I will certainly keep you & Lacy in my prayers. Sonnia
