Guest guest
Hi – the follow up exams are routine. Some of them depend on your meld score, and the retest gets more frequent as your MELD score goes up. Don’t worry about not hearing anything back. If there was something really bad, you would have. Nita ==================== WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO HAVE A 3 MONTH FOLLOW UP TO THE CT SCAN I JUST RECEIVED. I TALKED TO THE NURSE BUT SHE IS GETTING BACK TO ME. NO DOCTOR HAS CALLED ME WITH RESULTS SO I WAS WONDERING IF THIS IS NORMAL OR NOT
Guest guest
As a pt you have the right to know your results. I would follow up with your doctors office and ask for a copy of the results. My doctor told me to always get a copy of my test reports and to keep them in a file. I travel often and my doc gave me a CD with my latest MRI so that if I have any problems I can give it to the doctor wherever I am. It is your health and generally no news is good news when you don't hear back from the doctors office. There are times when pt's fall thru the crackes, remember your doctor and his staff are human and can make mistakes! (I am a nurse and see mistakes on a regular basis) PSC 5/07 Listed
