LaCretia, Would not using licorice while geting off the CORTEF help a lot in

weaning off, or is there something I a not understanding here?

Just take it real slow, about 2.5mg every 3-4 days, or every week..

or as you can handle it. Nausea and weakness is all part of it...

If you find you can do more, then do more but don't push it, the

slower the better. The day you drop the next day is usually the

worst. If you have addisons you need to be careful weaning.

Meaning if you have flu like symptoms, and your BP drops you may

want to get checked out right away. Not trying to scare you but

rather have you have a heads up. It sounds like you know what you

are up against. :) Hope you the best and keep us posted!
