Guest guest
- I am on wellbutrin sr. I haven't noticed any bad side effects. Well, any side effects. I was on it before for neurocardiogenic sycope then I went off of it and noticed I had more pain. I take 1 tablet in the morning and that is it. This is the first time I have tried to treat my fms. I was trying to find the right meds for my sycope. Little did I know that wellbutrin worked for both. jnikegirl@... wrote: Hello!! My massage therapist always told me to lay off the sugar and coffee. He could also tell when I was really overdoing it with Cappuccino's. I still eat a lot of carbs. My question is: does anybody have a problem with appetite supression due to medication? I know Prozac does that. I feel hungry, but can't eat a whole meal. How do you deal with this? No food = no energy. And I might not be like most people, but I am very skinny, and I loose weight easily, and if I don't eat, I have no energy, and get actually weak. Maybe somebody else has the same probem?? Ironically my husband has been overweight for years, but since his accident 10 months ago gained a lot of weight. Thanks for any help!!! Hello & welcome, I just read your intro survey, and I agree with you about sugar & carbs bringing out the worst in fibro. Colette, S. Guest guest
Hi , My appetite has been suppressed to some extent by zoloft. I can often not eat all day if my blood sugar doesn't dip or I'm not too active, and then eat a few things at night. I always felt I was pigging out at night, til my doctor weighed me and I haven't gained any weight, and often lose a couple pounds from week to week. (Sometimes I will suck it up and put junk food to me for a week to gain something when I get what I feel is too thin, despite the upset stomach that comes with it) I think sometimes the medication makes me think I'm eating a lot, when I'm just eating the equivalent of one large meal per day. Sometimes I will just make myself eat when I don't feel like it, because like you the energy becomes so low I just want to sleep all day.
