What hospital was this?Sent from my iPhone

Thursday 23rd Oct, 3 months and 1 day!!I had a lovely and very detailed update for everyone, and ping the internet ate it so here is the abridged version.

Friday night I went to my first home game of the QLD Roar (soccer for you uninitiated), which was great. I've only missed half the season...but did manage to walk back to the city where the car was parked from Suncorp, like we used to, so that was good.

Sunday we went out on 's Boss' boat, a very smooth 60'er, with several other couples. Not a fishing style of day, more drinking champers and eating in an airconditioned dining area!!! VERY NICE. We even have managed to quiet the kids on doing an extension, to enable the boat dream to come a little closer. They never need asking twice if they want to go out on Ron's boat!

Monday clinic went well, we had a big reunion of transplantees. Most of the friends I made three months ago are on fortnightly or monthly visits now, so we never coincide, but we did Monday, so it was great to catch up.

Tuesday I was booked for a calcium infusion which is supposed to run over 4 hours, but because of my lack of kidney function I went in overnight to do it slower. It all went really well, they were even expecting me, until they told me the last bed left in the whole hospital was in the locked dementia ward!! This is the second time this has happened (think they are trying to tell me something?), but I survived. I may not have survived a second night, and please shoot me if I get half that bad, but all I can say is that the nursing staff were very patient!

That's about all my news. No news is good news as they say.Hope you all have a good day,Lots of love Penny T

I think he was referring to the picture on the boat.
