Guest guest
That is one of the problems I have. Fortunately it doesn't usually go to vomiting at least not yet. But the nausea is really a problem. Went to a convention and they had this awesome banquet for us and I couldn't eat a bit of it. And it happens frequently. Ginger tea helps some but not enough. does anyone here have this sympton? > I am new here and just found out I have fm. Guest guest
I've had that experience, Jackie. I equate it to morning sickness. The only explanation my doctor had was that my allergies (which have a lot to do with the immune system) were causing my sinuses to drain and the crud was sitting on my stomach. If you want to chat more, my address is jmauer@... jmauer@...> . Jan does anyone here have this sympton? I am new here and just found out I have fm. I would like to know if anyone else has this sympton, I wake up feeling like I did when I had food poisening. I can't help but wonder, if there is a toxin in my body that builds up and when it is where my body can't take any more than that is when I have one of these episodes. If I try to fight it, by getting out of bed, showering, etc, I get really sick at my stomach and start vomiting. usually i just roll over and sleep for hours, and then i am able to get up out of bed. thanks, Jackie

Guest guest
Jackie, I have something similar, only not as severe. Basically I haven't eaten breakfast in about 17 years, due to the fact that I need to be up for at least 3 ours before I can put anything solid in my stomach. Otherwise, I get extremely nauseous. Coffee is ok, but no milk. I manage to get my vitamins down, but I basically schooled myself to tolerate taking them and not getting sick from them. I can't manage that with food though. Hope you find something to help you. Take care,

Guest guest
I go several months at a time where I stay very sick to my stomach and have pain in my stomach. I get very bloated and it's painful. I have been tested many times and they can't find anything wrong. Chalk it up to irritable bowel syndrome. I often wonder why I have to have FM and all it's friends...isn't it enough to have fm??? anne Re: does anyone here have this sympton? Jackie, I have something similar, only not as severe. Guest guest
I get nauseous mostly in the evenings...around 10:00...I also think any stress I have brings it on. I'm very unhappy at work and it's showing in my health. My hair has starting falling out again which is really bumming me out. I'm looking for a new job but for the time being I'm working hard to remain calm. anne Re: does anyone here have this sympton? I have that happen to me also but I've only vomited one of those times. For me it comes and goes in bouts. For me it's happened at different times in the day even at night not just in the morning. I'd really like to figure out why it happens, like you said maybe the body is saying it's had enough. I don't know, I'm just glad I'm not having that sick feeling right now. Be well! Guest guest
Hi Jackie, Welcome to the club. I actually went through a period of this, accompanied by wooziness and weakness. I was tested extensively for crohn's disease and pretty much misdiagnosed with it, my stomach problems were so bad. I found out I just have IBS, which often comes along with FM. It took a while, but I got it under control with diet and medications. Shandi > I am new here and just found out I have fm. Have you talked to your doctor about this? It is not a symptom of fibro. At least not that I have ever heard. Go see a doctor ASAP. You should not be doing this day after day. Take care, Irene Books may well be the only true magic Alice Hoffman
Guest guest
Hi! Just joined this group and the first message I saw was this one from Irene. Yes, I vomit often sometimes nearly every day, then nothing for a week or two. I've no luck finding out from my GP what it is. Sorry I have no advice as to why it is or how to avoid it, but thought you'd feel some comfort knowing you are not alone!
