have experience with low carbohydrate diet and pain reduction?

Hi all....Wanted to touch on this the other day, and I ran out of time...not

too uncommon for me!

I do not run a low carb diet by choice so I don't know how that would affect

your pain, if at all. But....

About two years ago, after frequenting a lot of animal rights sights, I

became a vegetarian...I totally quit eating red meat and pork. I eat fish

yet, and chicken in VERY limited quantity. I also dropped milk and milk

products. WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

First of all, let me state that I did not do this overnight. The meat thing

I did, but not the chicken or milk. I am still working every day to improve

it.

When I quit meat, I did not feel bloated after I ate a meal. My energy level

went through the roof! I lost over 60 lbs.

When I quit the dairy, my Irritable Bowel calmed down dramatically! That was

a gift in itself.

My daughter had 30 ear infections and horrific colic her first year of life

and is deaf in her right ear from it...it was not until I was on another

rights website that I found a mom who had a story so similar to my

daughter's. We ignored the pediatrician and switched her to all soy

milk...She has NEVER had an ear infection since...she is 4 now. She gets 1-2

colds a year now. BIG difference for her as well.

The question most have is...what about protein. You should read up on soy

milk and other vegan products...You get more protein there than in your meat!

Just a thought.
