Guest guest
-----Original Message----- The emails I keep getting say in the subject line: Ian Cribb suggested you add a friend on Facebook..., Anyway, I think it would be good for the psc group to join facebook! When I’m rushed, I just skim many posts – so I’m not sure if this is right or not, but……. I thought the “PSC Facebook page” was set up just for the teenagers in our group? A page so kids could have someplace to go with out their parents around. Is that right???? I know anyone can do one, but thought the PSC one was for kids. Or is the teen one located someplace else? Guest guest
Barb, Facebook isn't only for the youngins. Anyone can get a facebook friendship list for free. There are two PSC groups on facebook(that I know of, I am a member of both). I have been searching out members of this support group, using their email addresses attached to their posts. When I've found one I've been sending them a friendship request with a note attached saying I want to be able to put a face to their name when they post. They can accept my friendship or reject it (chose ignore)(so far I have 19 friends with facebook accounts from this group). That is all very good and upright. But what I was also doing was passing their name along to other others in this group with facebook accounts. One of these people wrote me asking who all these people I were suggesting for friendship were. I them realised I should have been asking for permission before passing their names along. So last night I wrote them all on facebook apologized for not previously asking their permission told them I would stop including their name without their permission asking for them if it is okay to pass their name along to other members of this group. So far I relieved seven responses all telling me a can pass their name along, so I will continue to pass their name along (with the exception of Lori, it sound like its a business email and I don't think its fair that she might get to many suggested friends). Ian Cribb you can find me on facebook and I will accept any friendship request from this group -----Original Message-----The emails I keep getting say in the subject line: Ian Cribb suggested you add a friend on Facebook..., Anyway, I think it would be good for the psc group to join facebook! Guest guest
Ian, I don't mind if you pass my name along to folks in the PSC group! I do have a request for folks who 'friend' me, though: if you are from this group, would you please include a message with your friend request saying that you are from PSC Support? I will accept your friend offer as long as I see that; I saw a few names this afternoon, though, that I don't recognize. No hard feelings, I hope, if I don't accept you--just friend me again and put PSC in the message! Thanks, Genevieve > > > > -----Original Message----- > > The emails I keep getting say in the subject line: Ian Cribb suggested you > > add a friend on Facebook..., Anyway, I think it would be good for the psc > > group to join facebook! > > > > > > > > When I'm rushed, I just skim many posts – so I'm not sure if this is right > > or not, but…….
