Guest guest
Hi, lets keep a list going here in this group of the GOOD endos or BAD for that matter. Ok, I will go first: Dr. Alan Balsam in Deerfield Beach, FL: He has a great bedside manner. He listens to you. He does not push you out the door prematurely. He is NOT opposed to using ARMOUR although that is not his first choice usually. He will let you have a lot of control over how you want to handle your care. He WILL run a FREE T3 if you ask him to (a true rarity). LET'S KEEP THIS LIST GOING...please add to this.

I've only seen him once, but was impressed by his progressive knowledge about treating thyroid problems. Guest guest
Hi . You will be pleased to know we already have such a list going. It's in the FILES section and is called GOOD DOCS. It's not specifically for Endo's though, since most Endo's are lousy. But ANY good doc, including an Endo, can be included. The requirements: the doc has to test the free's, willingly prescribe Armour, and pay attention to symptoms over labs (the latter means the doc will allow your TSH to be quite suppressed, if need be). If you feel your doc meets the above requirements (as your description appears to say, correct??), add his address and phone number and I'll get him on the list.
