Guest guest
hello - I just joined the group. I am 26 years old and have had fms for at least 15 years, though I wasn't diagnosed until after my first year of college. I was told I have a mild case, meaning I can work 30 hours/week without too many problems. I think, though, that I am pushing too hard. I live with my parents, which is helpful when I am in pain, because I can't afford not to. I am looking for ways to improve. I practice Tai Chi/Qi Gong, go to a one-on-one pilates session regularly, and physical therapy as well. I take Trazodone each night, which helps significantly. I started taking it after my diagonosis, and suddenly could stay mostly awake for 9 am classes! I still feel like there is something else I should be doing. But I am tired of trying new things. I spent alot of time when i was younger going in and out of doctors offices, with no good results. I'm frustrated that I can't seem to do anything that I want. I guess I still haven't fully accepted fms. Well, I'm glad to have found this group. I hope everyone is as well as they can be.
