This is a new one for us and has probably been answered before, however I feel

like take him to the ER more than necessary and I need some guidance on this

one.

Today at about 5:30 am he started with chills - right from his core. His temp

is 99.9 (gone up from 99.4 in approx 30 minutes. We were at his 3-month tx

clinic appt yesterday and all was well. He has had a problem with edema the

last few weeks and his Createnine was as high as 1.9, however, we got it down to

1.14 and Tues it was back up to 1.4. Other than those " minor " things he has no

pain anywhere or other issues - his feet are puffy but the doc told us yesterday

they very concerned about that unless it is in the ankles or above.

I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have. Thanks,

Barbara (wife of - PSC 07, listed MELD 11)

My transplant center advises calling them

or going to an ER if the fever is over 101.5 or there are chills.

Thank you Joe, that is what I was thinking but I am working very hard not to

rush into things too fast. These are not chills like I've ever seen before -

they are obviously coming right from the core of his body. I am calling the tx

coordinator.
