Guest guest
Hi all, I've been on Armour up to 2 grain this week. I've had a virus that really knocked me out and now my adrenals are low. I went to the chiropractor today and she gave me some adrenal supplements to take 2x per day. Question: Should I lower the Armour amount while I am on the adrenal support? thank you, Robin
Guest guest
Should I lower the Armour amount while I am on the adrenal > support? _______________ Only if you are experiencing hyperthyroid symptoms. Then, I would only lower it long enough to get rid of the symptoms. Cortisol, which is in many adrenal support products causes the body to use more thyroid. Illness also increases the need for thyroid. When cortisol from the adrenals is low, thyroid can't work and will build up in the blood and give hyper symtpoms. But, tissues are deprived of sufficient thyroid. So, it sometimes helps if you have these symtoms to reduce or stop thyroid meds temporarily just to clear out this excess thyroid in the blood. Adrenal support usually alows thyroid to work and fixes the problem. Tish
