imuran and a cold

Just wondering if anyone else has been on Imuran, and if so, if you

had a cold would you call your doctor? I have been on Imuran for

just over a week now (Imuran suppresses the immune system). I seem

to have a stuffy nose, scratch throat, sneezing, no cough. The nurse

for my insurance company thinks I should call my doctor just to let

him know I have a cold. Seems kind of extreme to me. It is

Saturday. He isn't going to get the message until Monday. What

would others do?

Glad to see the Florida Lupies checking in. Our family in Minnesota

have been praying for your safety. We had a beautiful day today.

Last week was on the chilly side, but I prefer cool to hot, but that

is just me. Seems weather effects each Lupie differently. Those in

the South seem to like the heat and those in the North prefer the

cold, well for the most part (lol).

Hope everyone is having a relaxing night. Suppose I should do some

laundry or make some supper (almost done with laundry, and no one is

hungry yet, so why make dinner?).

I was on imuran for a few years way back when I was diagnosed. ly, I

wouldn't have called the doctor. I didn't when I was on chemo either, as

long as there was no fever. If you have a fever you should definitely call

your doctor.
