For years I would get RUQ pain every 4 to 6 weeks, but no fever. I took antibiotics (cipro or flagyl) and I would start to feel better in a few days. More recently (last few years) the pain is almost constant and I get no relief from antibiotics. There is no good explanation for the pain. I too find it hard to sleep at night because of the pain and exercise is very hard if not impossible. Do you have shortness of breath?Subject: Re: RUQ painTo: Date: Saturday, January 24, 2009, 12:00 PM

Thanks!

I hope the ERCP will help. This is a new experience for me. I can't

say I am in SERIOUS pain, but it was bad enough not to go to the gym

this morning and make finding a comfortable sleeping position hard at

night.
