I have read somewhere... (God knows where but it was a reliable site) that

Synthroid (& all synthetic T4 meds) are bound with a sodium molecule, This must

have stomach acid to remove it to release the thyroid hormone. That is why I

said it needs to be swallowed. Levothyroxine SODIUM sound familiar?
