Guest guest
I had a horrible case of mono when I was 15 years old. I also had a horrible case of the measles when I was a baby. Apparently, they are looking into the possibility that there is a link between mono, roseola and fibro and other autoimmune diseases...Anyone else have any information on this? -Donna

I didn't feel sick then and hadn't been sick for months before the blood test so I don't know how the blood test could have turned up with mono but I guess they don't lie I didn't know you could have mono and not 'be' sick but apparently you can...unless the mono stays in your bloodstream for a very long period of time after initial sickness??? At the time I was afraid the doctor was going to use the mono as the answer to all of my problems but when I went back 2 months later because nothing had changed he then referred me to the rheumatologist who diagnosed my fibro.
