Guest guest
Where can we get Thyroid-S? You can email me privately as I know we're trying to keep things on the " down-low " . Merk4@... Shelli Re: Scary question - weight? I can handle that it may be 'harder' but I'll just scream if I have to be stuck at my current weight for the rest of my life. Thanks to both of you so far. Anyone else? Hi Friday! I am up to 4 grains of Thyroid-S and have been losing a pound a week. I was very frustrated on Synthroid...it was like I wasn't on any meds at all. Some weeks I would work out like crazy, eat healthy and gain 1 to 3 pounds! Sue in Colorful Colorado

Guest guest
Hi Jeanne! It took me 3 months, I probably raised my dosage a little faster than I should have. At 3 grains, I started losing weight and keeping it off, but my hair was still falling out. I've been working out consistently, however, when I was at 2 grains I would start to feel sick during my workout and once I got a migraine afterwords. I'm feeling great now!!! I also feel more fortunate than a lot of you on this site. The only problem I seem to have is being hypo. My workout consists of 4 to 5 cardio workouts - 30 minutes each: weights 4xs a week (arms 2x, legs 2x). And abs 3 times a week. Right now I'm not working, so we'll see how things go once I find a jog again! I had a job in May, but I had an anxiety attack and couldn't go to work anymore. All my doctor did was prescribe Alprazolam (generic Xanax)!!! I went to the doctor last March cause I was feeling really depressed and not motivated. He prescribed Lexapro and tested my TSH. He diagnosed me with hypo, kept me on Lexapro and prescribed Synthroid. I am just now almost totally weaned off the Lexapro...the Thyroid-S also is helping with my depression!!! Sue, how long did it take you to get up to 4 grains?--and did the weight loss begin, after you got to 4??and have you been able to work out consistently from the beginning of your diagnoses??-jeanne> I am up to 4 grains of Thyroid-S and have been losing a pound a week.
