You can title this one under " all the weird things I learned while working for a chemistry department " . There are several different types of bluing, some end up with a yellow tint, and some with a blue. The blue sort is better at going white on gray hair, but if you over tint with it, it turns blue instead of white, like the little old ladies with blue hair. Snicker, you probably could make big bucks by getting him work in a commercial! I remember watching People's Court one time, and some guy wanted his Persian (he was a professional animal trainer) died pink for work in a commercial. The dyer died the cat blue instead and the guy lost the work for the cat. The judge made the dyer pay the trainer $600 for the lost job! Too bad we can't send those kinds of photos to the group because I'd love to see him! Well go give him a hug from all of us. Darcy
