Guest guest
I have heard of very few people giving Armour to their dogs. They need alot more per pound than we do! My 21 pound cat takes 4 grains Armour a day. I give my 22# West Highland Terrier Armour. I have the formula somewhere that I got from Roxanna on this board who's a Vet. Kayley is doing soooo much better since she was dx'd and put on Armour. I have to take her in next week for blood work. It is true that dogs need a lot more that humans. Kayley takes 7 grains per day. 180 in the am, 180 at 4:00 pm and one grain at bedtime. Her eyes are bright again, her coat is soft and it isn't falling out. She did have a skin condition which has improved (she had an odor problem), she has much more energy and just seems younger. She is 13 years old. Oh, and her tail is up in the air again. She's just plain " perky " again! If you'd like, I can email all the info I got to convince the Vet to give her Armour and emial to you privately. I hope your doggie feels better soon!
