Guest guest
, I had my gallbadder out a few years ago and my Dr. said that a high fat diet would cause a gallbladder attack. He said he always had a lot of patients around the holidays. Audie gallbladder?!? Fiber :-O HGH emails; Last Sept, I went to the doctor-thinking I had trouble with my gallbladder, she did an ultrasound and a stomach scope? Anyway, the US came back fine, I asked her to do a hida scan (the hormone test) and she refused to allow me to have one! I'm still having pain under my rib occasionally, it's almost like a big pinch all the way up through my shoulder blades. The other night I woke up at 4 AM, and was thinking that I was having a heart attack, except the burning didn't feel like it was that deep inside my chest-I had burning pain across my chest and into my arm....my heart was going about 140, I was dizzy and felt really horrible, my boss had her gallbladder out last year, and she described having the same symptoms before she had her gallbladder fixed. Does this sound like the gallbladder? I also have low grade temps off and on, and this could be due to the FMS...but, I sure wish my doctor would at least consider what I ask her for....it's almost as though whatever I ask her for specifically...she will be sure NOT to give that to me. I almost will do anything I can to avoid eating anymore....between my stomach and the IBS, eating is pure hell. One of my best friends husband is a true vegan, but she eats only non-land dwelling animals! I will often try vegetarian diets, and have tried for a month...my IBS do NOT get better with time...I end up praying to god to leave my body, the pain, pressure and bloating is more than I can stand...and i'm sure I will end up in the hospital. I can eat oatmeal, but not raw vegetables--which I love. I even tried taking metamucil...a little at a time, to work my body into a higher fiber diet a little at a time...that didn't work very well either. I thought that the fiber had turned to cement in my intestines! I don't think I will ever be able to eat a high fiber diet I get enough junk email and am not happy to get a bunch more-it's one thing if someone from the list tries something and it works for them...i'm happy to hear about it...as I might want to try it also. But, after about 200 junk emails about HGH, it gets a bit irritating! kmnewberry@... _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com

Guest guest
I had the same type of thing happen to me 2 weeks ago and I am going for an ultrasound of my gallbladder along with a chest xray this friday. But my docotr is telling me that she doesn't think it's my gallbladder because of my temp, that it doesn't fit the profile. I told her I dont; care if it is my gallbladder or something else, I just want her to find whatever is causing so much pain and fix it. I will let you know what happens. gallbladder?!? That pinch between the shoulder blades is a dead giveaway! By the time some bozo gets my test set up, its passed. One did pass in the ER and was confirmed but they didn't take out my gallbladder. I avoid meat seared in butter, pork (unless its very lowfat), and fatty beef, especially rib meat. Corn, peppers, cabbage, etc. can irritate your gallbladder but I can eat like a goat in that area. When I have an attack, I puke yellow bile and hurt. My magnets help the pain; somehow they just seem to absorb some of the pain. They will actually get hot. Don't eat anything but ice chips in the midst of an attack. If you puke green, go to the hospital. It ruptured or is blocked and your blood is now involved in the infection. I would get a second opinion. Just to err on the side of safety. If you are bothered to that degree by your symptoms, a second opinion is a very good thing. Remember, doctors just provide a service. If you are not satisfied with their service, you can go elsewhere.
Guest guest
When I had my gallbladder problems, I had very little of the pain in my right side under the rib cage. Where I had most of my pain was in my back just between my shoulder blades. I thought it was heartburn pain from my GERDS. I found my diet was more and more limited, couldn't eat more than a bite of green salads or raw veggies, bananas were the absolute worse! My stomach hurt when I did these things, and got the back pain. Mine was diagnosed by ultrasound, but then the doctor told me I was the second worst case she had ever seen! I had over 100 gallstones, and they weren't tiny ones either. The gallbladder was so stretched you could see through it! Literally. I know when I had gone for a gallbladder scan several years earlier, they could see sand sized stones, so maybe that's why she said no. It wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion. Maybe the first tech didn't read the scan correctly. Darcy
