Guest guest
Mojo, when out kitty had that the vet just had us give her regular old syrup. I can't remember wether it was dark or white though. One kind stops potty problems and the other begins them. sheesh, alot of help I am. I guess people give it to babies too, has anyone else ever heard of doing that? a Hello all cat lovers. Hope one of you can tell me what to do. Peekaboo, my cat, has diarrhea. She started last night. Thought it was only a one time thing, but I just went to clean the litter box and there it is again. Hope you guys can tell me what to do. I know cats are very sensitive. I don't remember Bandit ever having diarrhea and don't know what to do. She seems to be doing ok. She's in and out, doesn't seem to be in pain or anything. Mojo
Guest guest
Mojo & a, Back in good ole days when I was Mixing formula for my Human Babies myself.....My pediatrician would have me mix Dark Karo Syrup with the formula if the babies stool was hard, and White Karo Syrup if the babies stool was normal or loose. Now I am not suggesting you do that for Peekaboo, as I never mixed formula for a cat. If you are truly worried, can't you give your Vet a call just to be sure? I also remember when I was hand raising a couple of tiny kittens abandoned by their Mother.....that I called a local Vet, and was told to give the Kitties, pure concentrated canned milk, undiluted, as it was the closest thing to a Mother cat's Breast Milk. Again, I am NOT suggesting you do that either for Peekaboo. She is no longer a tiny newborn Kitty .....Just give your Vet a Call to be on the safe side....I know how much you love her. C.
