He thought it was bursitis and prescribed 800mgs Ibuprofin. Well, it's still

better. I really hope it isn't RA.>>

I haven't had anything like that, but my mother is suffering from bursitis

is both hips. It started with the right and now she's got it worse in the

left side. Her doc did the same as yours and also sent her to PT, which

didn't help.

I started seeing a chiropractor last week and one of his patients is a nurse

with bursitis in her hip. She and I were talking about treatment and she

says that after 4-5 visits with the chiro, she is about 80% recovered and

only has pain if she has to roll over onto that hip.

There's a specialized treatment he uses and I have the flyers here, since he

wanted me to try it for the FMS pain. I think the one that helped the woman

with bursitis is called " NMR " or " Neuromuscular ucation. "

I haven't had this treatment, so I can't be an advocate for it. I'm simply

putting the info into the mix so that you can investigate it as a

possibility if you wish. If anyone *has* been through this treatment, I'd

love to hear how well (if at all) it works.
