Sorry you're feeling so bad. I keep trying to tell myself that my

present state of health isn't going to last forever. Just because I

feel so badly lately, doesn't mean it's not going to get better.

Besides, in 10 years they could either have a cure or a drug that really

works! I can't do well if I tell myself I'm going to always feel like I

do right now.

Hi Allicia,

I'm here with you, sweetheart. I'm 25 and I feel like

65 and I'm scared to death to keep living sometimes.

The only thing that keeps me going is that I love to

live and I just keep thinking about all the things

that make me happy. I also know that if I can live

through this then I can live through anything! I have

a challenge and I love a good challenge! So, I'm

going to keep on livin'.

I live my life day by day trying to make each day the

best it can be. I am trying to only do what I can and

letting myself get the rest I need when I need it. My

biggest challenge is learning how not to feel guilty

for resting or not doing something. We were raised in

a society that believes you only are what you do and

that not doing is a 'sin' to society. Well, I have to

come first now and I'm the only one who can listen to

my body and say, " I need _____ " . I realized that I

should never have to say 'no' to my body and I

shouldn't have to feel guilty for saying 'YES'!

Take care of you, Allicia. If you want to work again

start off slow, take a part time job where you can sit

down all day but be able to move when you need to

stretch. Don't be embarrassed about your illness, it

is NOT your fault. And da** those people who fired

you because you were ill! Isn't there a law against

that?

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is just be you and

don't feel guilty or embarrassed for being you and

taking care of you. I know that it is much easier to

say than do, and in the past I was really mad at

people who said that and made it sound so easy. It's

not easy, it's not easy at all. Take it one day at a

time. Each day is a new chance to start all over

again.

Hope this helps some..

Gentle Hugs,

Charity
