Guest guest
I began acupuncture last week and this is what has happened... First treatment I had fantastic relief of pain between my shoulders and somewhat in my lower back..he concentrated on those areas for the first week. Second treatment and third I found no difference from the first time. The fourth treatment, he started working on my legs knees and feet. I've found no help with that so far and I go back tomorrow. > Hi every one, > > Thank you for the warm welcome. Guest guest
I tried acupuncture. I found some small relief after the first visit but the pain came back a couple hours later. I went for two more visits and it was the same. Needless to say I haven't went back anymore. It's a high co-pay each time for me and I just can't see paying that for no substantial relief. I may go and try it again who knows, I may not of given it enough of a chance. If you decide to try it, good luck I hope it helps you! Take care, Dana > > Hi every one, > > > > Thank you for the warm welcome. It was suggested to me last night > > that I try acupuncture for the pain, has any one tried this? Guest guest
I'm afraid of accupuncture although it was recommended to me twice last week for the pain. Tried everything else. Finally have been approved for a sleep study. I think that is the main culpret. No restive sleep. Hope you will stop and visit my new web site with stories/poetry about everyday courage, finding strength within www.emergingcourageous.com Peace and God Bless, Marilyn > Hi every one, > > Thank you for the warm welcome. Guest guest
Hi There just a personal experience..acupuncture is amazing….a tad of pain but the effects are amazing…my body energizes and yet rests sleepfully and peacefully…..however…there are two approaches to acupuncture..the chinese way and the western way…they insert needles differently…. I see a chinese doctor from china who came to Canada…she is excellent with the needles, knows the proper way of insertion and being a medical doctor in china I think has given her more information as to exactly how many needles and how to address the situation… I have been getting acupuncture for a few years…but one of the side aspects of going is that being a doctor she can tell much better than my doctor how things are progressing or digressing as they diagnose by looking at your tongue and facial features and demeanor….it is quite fasinating but I am a s trong proponent of Chinese medicine.. anyhow just a personal share….not swinging you either way Sincerely Re: acupuncture? Guest guest
As I posted earlier.. I had begun acupuncture treatments about a month ago. I found much relief for pain between my shoulders and moderate relief in my lower back. He did one treatment on my legs and feet and I got nothing. Well I ran out of money to go (30$ a visit) but the odd thing is that since I've stopped going my pain seems worse after a few weeks. Maybe it was helping more than I actually realized. I noticed during those weeks I was going, I used HALF of the ultram that I am now, and my husband said I was asking less for massages. I think when I return from vacation I'll try again. > > Hi every one, > > > > Thank you for the warm welcome.
