Guest guest
Hi.. can you tell me what the name of the 1 pill for yeast that your doctor gave you? thanks, robin Feeling pretty good today! I went to the doc for my first bloodwork since starting armour, and confessed that I have upped my own dose. He was very OK with that and said he guesses I am right anyway, and the tests will tell him more in two days. PLUS, I have had a suspicion for about a year now that I might have some internal blood born candida going on. I had some hives etc a while back... anyway, long story short, I told this doc last night that I think I have both a yeast infec (I dont) and a sinus infection (I might) so he gave me the rx for an pill, the kind you swallow, for the yeast that I sorta lied about... and I feel so mch better today than I have in a really long time! I really think I have a blood yeast problem but no doc would buy into it, including this guy. But when I claimed to a yeast infec, he wrote the rx and one refill! Its a one pill thing. I havent felt this well for a long while.... strange but welcomed! I will post my thyroid test results later in the week. (I read about this yeast stuff in the book , " the yeast connection " , and so many symptoms mimic hypo)

I have been amazed how many folks here have reported that their docs were OK with their self-imposed raises. That's good news!! The bad news above is when he said the tests will tell him. That could mean he's too lab obsessed, so keep firm about your symptoms. Also note that when folks find their optimal doses here, and then do labs, they will find their TSH's very suppressed and below range (i.e. .009, or .004 for example) and their free T3 at the top of the range, if not slightly over. Additionally, folks with tissue resistance will need that free T3 to get WAY over range before they ever start getting relief from symptoms. I was told by another doc that it works thru the blood stream. It was actually developed for brain yeast infections in AIDS patients, but now its used for vag infections too. Guest guest
I actually cut back my armour dose for three days BEFORE this blood test. Hopefully that was enough to " fix " my results a bit. This doc said he is really lab driven, but he also has said in the past that he's ok " fudging " a bit. He has shown me many times that if I come in to the office with reasonable research and have it fairly firm in my mind and heart that Im ok with it, as long as its not dangerous, he's been ok with it too. I understand, he doesnt want a law suit. But if he'll let me fudge, Ill let him fudge, too.
