Guest guest
Thanks, Cheryl, for your input, and Becky too. I'm sorry you have seizures, Cheryl. Since I was diagnosed last year with fibromyalgia I validated a lot with people with fibromyalgia. Like with lupus, people with fibromyalgia can have it in a mild form or severe form. This applies also for the brain fog. Latest researches show there might be a connection between fibromyalgia and the central nerve system. Whatever causes my brain fog, I have it badly. I keep a notebook and write everything down. I have often forgotten I have made notes. At least I don't forget all. I can't read books for this. At the end of page one I have forgotten the first lines. The list of things that happen are numerous. When people talk to fast, I have a hard time to understand them. Anyway, it's annoying sometimes especially when it involves other people. Yet I laugh about the most of my mistakes. I too have black-outs and they got more severe during my latest flare. micha. brain fog >>>>>>>>>>Micha said: Is there a difference for you between the lupus fog and the fibro fog? Don’t know but there surely degrees of the fog thing. I have heard and seen lupus folks with total black outs. I had a few seizures myself and some have them all the time. I haven’t heard that fibro caused the fog thing until I got a computer and started on line. I was under the impression that fibro didn’t mess with your head a lot. Guest guest
Micha, I know just what you mean about the fibro fog. I quit driving because several times I was driving down the road and completely forgot where I was going sometimes and sometimes knew where I was going and forgot what freeway I was on and how it connected to where I was going. I must also confess that often when I am reading my e-mails by the time that I get to the end, I need to look back up to see who sent it. I remember the entire message, I just have to look to see who sent it sometimes a couple of times. It makes me angry and myself. I used to have a great memory and now I feel like I have that alzhiemers (sp) stuff, lol a At least I don't forget all. I can't read books for this.
