Guest guest
Val, does it taste the same as Armour? U found the Time Caps stuff tasted just awful - kinda like how wet dog smelled. > I have tried both and found the Thyroid-S to be the same as Armour for me. It is a better generic than the Time Caps Labs was. Although I have not found an ingredient list for it, we have determined that Thailand has the same strict guidelines as the US in their formularies. > > Artistic Grooming > Hurricane, West Virginia > >

Guest guest
It wasn't pretty. I know Armour has dextrose (sugar) in it, so it has to be better than the generic stuff, but getting Armour in Canada is tough, they sell a pfizer drug called Thyroid here in it's place. I got mine from myrx when it was still up and afloat and I just ordered from thyroid -s because I'm thinking I want natural, as nice as the compounded stuff I'm getting is, it's expensive, even with insurance. I can get a years with of thyroid-s for the same price as my deductible. How the hell is that possible??? Big drug companies make me sick, really. > > > I have tried both and found the Thyroid-S to be the same as > Armour > > for me. Guest guest
Crud, I was hoping they tasted better than the other generic. Grin and bear it guess huh? > I do not take mine sublingually so the taste has not been a problem. But it sure smells yucky! > > Artistic Grooming > Hurricane, West Virginia > >

While I was looking around on the web for information about drugs made in Thailand, I came across an interesting article about how Thailand actually makes very good generics for diseases like HIV; but that theUS was shooting it down because it took money out of US pharmeceutical pockets because Thailand does it so cheap. I didn't have a lot of time to read the other articles that the search pulled up, but at least Thailand has a good reputation for those kinds of medications; and seem to want to be taken seriously by the rest of the world.
