, I guess I have not had the pain you are describing. I hope someone here will be able to give you some ideas. What I had seemed to start in the back (right side, low) and eventually move around to the front. It was so bad that I screamed with it (I am not a screamer). I had 3 attacks of it and it scares the hell out of me and my husband. No doctor seems to have any idea and act as if they don't care.

It kind of pushes the breath out of me and it makes me groan a little. It happened last night and this afternoon. The pain comes in little waves for about 15 - 20 minutes. I feel a little bit better if I kind of bend over while standing. Does this sound familiar to anyone? It kind of felt like being socked in the stomach combined with...hmmm...squeezing of some sort. It is hard to describe. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks,PS: Thanks for the notes of congratulations. Barb, My pain like that turned out to be a large ulcer in my stomach. Better have an endoscopy if

you haven't had one, yet. That's how they found my ulcer. We went through tons of other tests,

and they showed nothing wrong with the area where I had pain, but in the process we did find my

enlarged heart, leaky heart valves, and congestive heart failure. So, I guess it was a blessing in

disguise...I guess. Anyhow, if you haven't had a thorough GI physical, get one. Please. Let us know

what you find out, 'k? Love you, MM
