OK --here we go again....I have been having discomfort in my eyes

for months now...and of course realize that is hypo symotom...but

lately when I drive ,it is difficult to keep my eyes open at

times...my eyeballs hurt...and sometimes my left eyelid droops....and

yes, that concerns me.....they feel so dry ,like someone is blowing a

hair dryer directly into them....please tell me ,this too shall

pass..jeanne

you can help the dry eyes by getting a wetting solution (no visine) to help

moisten the eyes. My old dr used to tell me I had 'too much debri' in my eyes,

and that any wetting solution for contact lenses would help. Visine will only

aggravate.

I used something called artificial tears after I found out about my thyroid

issues & after my diagnosis of hyperT/Graves in 2001. There is also a gel that

you can get over the counter for nighttime that will help. I want to say it's

called Genteel moisturizing gel (works great if you can tape your eyes shut at

night while sleeping).
