Guest guest
Donna, I too saw that about the vioxx and I stopped taking it for awhile. I only have one pill left for tomorrow and it will be gone, I have an appointment on the 16th then I will ask my dr. about the vioxx as I have mitral valve prolapse with my heart and I don't know if I should even be taking it, I also once had an ulcer so really should not be taking as it is hard on the stomach...Don't know what we should do sometimes....Joy Pain Medicine > > Hi Everyone, > > I have had so much trouble getting pain medicine from doctors. Guest guest
Hi , I too had the dizziness when I first started on the trazadone but no longer have it. The vioxx does help my pain but I guess what scared me was the things they were saying about it. The trazodone worked really good for a long time, I guess my body has gotten used to the dosage and it needs to be upped. Thanks for writing, Joy Re: Pain Medicine Joy, I'm Donna's is and as she said, I'm on Trazadone and Vioxx. I stopped taking Trazadone because it makes me sick to my stomach, dizzy (really bad!) and it doesn't seem to keep me asleep. So, without telling my dr, I choose to get off of it and go back to Elavil. I was on Elavil for years and had great luck with it, but it stopped working, and I kept increasing the dosage. Finally, I got up to 70 mg a night! So that's why my dr switched me. So basically for the past 7 months, I haven't been sleeping and well.... You know how that goes! I feel like dodo! Anyway, you might ask about Elavil. Oh, the side affect I battle is increased appetite! That's the biggest draw back for me! Hugs and Peace,
