Guest guest
Yes, every time I saw the doctor I was either in tears or on the verge of crying, so I really wasn't in any shape to argue with him. I didn't have the PTU, I had Tapazole (generic is methimazole), plus something to slow down my heart....it was never offered as an option to continue on those medications until the thyroid burned itself out- the only options were RAI or surgical removal....but it wouldn't have occurred to me to question that! Thanks, I don't feel so stupid now!
