Guest guest
I am the same paul I have to live with the pain as well as they say its to risky to operate on the liver so instead they up my morphine and other pain killers to try to help.I know that's much help to you but just wanted to let you know your not alone. I think its just another part of the disease that can affect some of us and doctors haven't worked out how to cure it as yet.But I live in hope that one day they will. Guest guest
It's been a while now so I had forgotten about this. But back when I was first being diagnosed I would get terrible pain in my URQ after eatting sometimes immediately but often within an hour. sometimes the pain would start slowly and intensify other times it would come on really bad all at once. SOmetimes lasting hours. At times I could not walk and would just roll up into a little ball. The nausea was horrible and when the pain got really pain I would vommit. I wastransported to the hospital several times only to be told, " we have no idea " or " maybe you passed a kidney stone. " (I have a history of them). Finally a doctor ran a specific radiology test, so I cannot for the life of me recall the name, and they discovered that I had something called SPhicter of Odi Dysfunction, there is a surgery to correct it; however, I took a specific smooth muscle relaxer for a while and now have been pain for the most part for a long time. It took almost three years to be diagnosed with this condition but once it was propperly treated I had relief and almost full remission within a few months. I have no way of knowing is this is what is going on for you all but I thought I would toss it out there. May you all find relief soon.
