Guest guest
Could it be that low thyroid/need for Armour is part of the cramping business with periods too? My middle daughter is starting to have horrible cramps with her periods. I have been treating her low ferritin first and waiting to treat her thyroid, but, now I am thinking that I should start her on 1/2 grain also. Thoughts anyone? Guest guest
AH, If I can remember that long ago... LOL I used to plan on a day or two a month being bed ridden from cramps. The doctors all played it down like I was a big baby, and when I got in my teens they tried BC pills too, but I couldn;t take them as they made me very ill. I do remember walking down the Kotex aisle in the grocery store on my way home form the hospital after my hyst... laughing so hard I about fell over with my belly full of clamps.. my sister thought I was nuts, but it was thinking I would never have to deal with another period or cramp again as long as I lived! *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, " You're next. " They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals

Guest guest
I can't tell you the number of times I raise one eyebrow when I read posts..and think to myself...ahhhhhh...that makes sense... nc2406@... wrote:In a message dated 3/9/2005 2:13:45 PM Eastern Standard Time, klb58@... writes: > Could it be that low thyroid/need for Armour is part of the cramping > business with periods too? i used to have terrible cramps when hypo...so that i dosed up with extra strength tylenol every 4 hours. after armour, i have taken maybe one tylenol the first or second day when i had minor cramping. so i do know it was a factor for me. i think some minor cramping can be normal...but not major cramping. cindi
