, good luck at cedar point! That whirlpool sounds awfully nice

right now :)

Ear and throat...yup, me too. Not pain, but feels as if the glands

are continuously swollen...have had docs check when I go in, they

always say they are just fine tho. I get a lot of ear

infections/sinus infections also, since I started having FMS symptoms

and was diagnosed...I guess about a yr and a 1/2 now.

also get skin and urinary infections during a flare....

weird.

Hope the trip goes well, !

I get that too, my ears are so itchy sometimes it drives me insane!! Not

sure what to do about it though. I do have tinnitis and have had it for

several years. Just get used to that though.

That is a symptom of allergies for sure. could be from other things too. I am

wondering how many or what majority of FM sufferers also have known allergies?

thanks,

I think a fair number do. I know I do, and mine are driving me right up

the wall for the last three days!! I tried every single trick I know to

get my headache to go away, and my allergies still are bothering me.

I'm beginning to wonder if a cinder block dropped on my face just might

do the trick! (that's a joke).

I have been taking Allegra D for my allergies. It woudl help if it was a tad

stronger, but its doing pretty well. Stuffy sinuses are just a fact of life for

me. I am allergic to all kinds of foods not to mention, all the grasses pollens,

dust, trees, you name it. They're not that bad, but just constant.

Candida fluorish in the ears is the most common culprit by far. And it is a very

common infection in people with FM, CFIDS

and arthritis.

In my practice I use ozone therapy on it; at home you can use 5 drops 3%

peroxide, retained for 5 minutes followed by

colloidal silver, or even a fungicide like peppermint oil or perhaps oregano

oil. There are several lists that'll help that issue; they

do it all the time.

When I read this, it triggered thought processes (yeah - I

occasionally have that). Has any research been done on a link

between FM/CFS and Candidiasis?

A friend of mine left his internal medicine practice years ago as he

got tired of telling people they were dying. He got interested in a

more holistic approach to medicine and did a lot of research on

candidiasis and how it can upend a persons life.

Just curious.

I'm new to the list - will send a more detailed, formal intro soon. I

was reading some former posts and wanted to ask about the itchy ears.

This has plagued me forever. I use cream - like elocon (sp.?) which

helps some....anybody have any other ideas? It drives me crazy!
