But you might want to check with your Dr anyway. audie Minor Crisis - HELP! Hello everyone! I don't post much I usually just site here and listen or watch (lurk). Today is a really bad day for me. For some reason starting last night I have had the strangest sensations on my left side especially my face. Its like my face is one big raw nerve ending. My poor husband just went to give me a kiss on the cheek and I became almost violent from the pain. Has anyone else ever had this happen and is this just a new thing for with this disease? I also have Myofacial Pain syndrome as well as the FM and CFS. I was wondering if anyone else knows anything about this before I call the doc. I am really hoping that this isn't just some other added pain that's going to keep coming back when it feels like it. Honestly, I had been taking an afternoon nap about three weeks ago, when the hubby came home from work. As i was awakening, the top of my back felt stiff and neck... sorta weird feeling so ask hubby to rub it... he did and weird feeling got so weird... felt like a lightening bolt struck from my neck upward clear through to the top of my head... just that quick too! My daughter was visiting from KY and she called 911. Actually thought it may have been a ambolism (sp?). Well, went to hospital and they gave me a demerol and mauscle relaxant and did not find out till following day when I went to see the PCP that this was called " trigeminal neuralgia. " not sure on the spelling either (i forgot), but ever since then, also have had the sensations which are strange just as you noted, also appear in my mid-back on upwards... your's sounds identical to mine...like tingling... and for heaven's sake, my husband does not dare to rub my back or anything when these occur. Really wierd stuff and when I was brought into the ER a couple weeks ago, this is all I could keep saying... that it was weird. Always, cloud Hello everyone! Guest guest Posted September 9, 2002 Report Share Posted September 9, 2002 i am F/CA/married/FMS/SICCA/IBS/ GERD/CHF/A1ATD/etc yes, i get this too, i get so hypersensitive that my hubby goes to touch me and i cringe in fear of impending extra pain. its awful, we need to be touched and loved, yet the pain prevents it. i'm so lonely for my hubby, yet he is with me daily and nightly, we are both disabled. but he can't even touch me. man, when he does, we prepare for anything to allow it. thanks for letting me vent. xoxoxoxoxo mel Melody - so ca desert > Hello everyone!
