Guest guest
Lori, If the hepatologist was dismissive of liver concerns, then I would be greatly encouraged by that. Some of the enzyemes in the typical " LFT " panel are not necessarily liver related. They are used as a part of a bigger picture and more important that any individual level is the ratios of level a to level b. But again, if the hepatologist isn't concerned, then I wouldn't be either!! Rick > > This is info on me- not my son who has PSC but i don't know who else > to ask ?? Guest guest
Lori, Is your ALP elevated? It is my understanding that almost everyone with PSC has elevated ALP. It does sound like you have something autoimmune going on. Do you have an autoimmune center where you live. Being from land, we have one at Hopkins. Autoimmune disorders can be very difficult to diagnose. Good luck > > This is info on me- not my son who has PSC but i don't know who else > to ask ??
