Way kewl! I sent Anne a private reply, but I might as well post to the list

also. I've perused the archives since joining the list, and there seem to be

several TX fibro-folks. I live in Canton, a bit less than an hour's drive

east of Dallas. Home of First Monday Trade Days flea market (and I'm

avoiding it like the plague this wkend.)

One of my very best friends lives in SA, I used to visit there more than I

do now. My friend there has been tentatively diagnosed with FMS.

Wouldn't it be kewl to have a TX FM/CFS (oops, I almost said CRS --

fibrofog, you understand) meet & greet at a central location?

Ann in Canton, TX

having fibro doesn't mean you've lost your sense of humor...that's what gets

me thru most days

----------

Anne Scarborough asked:

>What part of Texas are you in? I live in the Dallas area.

and Irene said:

>I am not the one that that you addressed that question to but since I am from

>San , I felt that I had to put my hand up.

I would be nice if we could all find a right time and someone to organize the

getting together. Austin would be nice as it is the center of Texas.

Take care,

Hi Irene,

I'm in Austin. I find this group very helpful but getting together

a bit might be nice, too. I've had fibro for years but am now

suffering thru menopause and trying to get the estrogen/progest right

and it's hell. I'm hoping there are others on this list that have

finally got the balance right and can give me hope! Ha.

~~I think that I am the oldest one on this list so I am way past that. I am

going to be in Austin in October for Bouchercon. It is a mystery convention

that brings in about 2,500 people. I jumped in as soon as I could and got my

room at the main hotel which I can't remember the name of now.

I try to get in the main hotel for these conventions as I really enjoy them

but, as we all know, i need to be able to rest.~~
