>>> bouts of nausea, vomiting, and excruciating

stomach pain. We usually go to the ER and they give her zofran or

tigan and usually 3 to 4 doses of morphine. Her episodes last about 6

hours and then she will feel crappy for several days after. <<<

My daughter used to do the very same thing before we completely

changed our diet and started taking Juice Plus.

The docs refused to agree with me that it was her liver and even

said that she could possibly be experiencing the cyclical thing…this was

before they said she had Ulcerative Colitis. But even after they dx her with UC

they she still had these bouts and the docs blamed it all on the UC. The only

time they believed she could possibly be having a cholangitis attack was once

when she was completely flared up with UC and she was running a high fever. Her

liver was enlarged at the time and she was in so much pain. They never said for

sure but put her on antibiotics and kept her in the hospital for observation.

Like I said she continued to have these bouts of pain and nausea

until we radically changed what we eat. Basically we don’t eat processed

food. No dairy, no chemicals, no preservatives. We try to eat organic and raw

as much as possible.

Right now she has been doing this thing that concerns me though…her

little belly will swell up and looks like it has a balloon underneath the skin…

sometimes it is painful and sometimes it is not… it has happened with and

without diarrhea…and it comes and goes. It is really strange! Has this

happened to anyone on here? She has an appointment with her docs at the end of

the month…I am hoping to talk to them about it then.
