My visit with Dr Oro went well. He thinks that surgery would be beneficial to me and it has been scheduled for February 3rd.

I really am excited about it. I know that it will help and I can't wait to get better. I'm scared, of course, about needing brain surgery but it is better than living like this forever.

We leave February 1st for Colorado. My pre op appointment is the 2nd and surgery Tuesday the 3rd.

We are having a benefit dance thing for my medical bills. I am really excited about that. It will help with the cost we have to pay for the surgery and also for the travel expenses. After 5 weeks at Mayo plus hospitals in Lincoln and everywhere else....money is tight, lol. It's okay though, it's worth it. :-)

I am so excited to have my life back. And so is my family. Dr Oro said, " I understand how you feel. You just want to be able to be a mom again and that's what I will help you with. " I love that guy. :-)
