hypo is a major cause of miscarriage. was the doctor checking her actual

thyroid hormone levels - or just the TSH?

I learned from this message board that you need to do a free T3 and

free T4 beside TSH. That is what I request for the last blood test

for my wife but the OBYN doctor did not understand the T3 free..So

she ordered the wrong test which was T3 uptake and not the free. She

asked me three times are you sure there is such a test of T3 free?

its not on the list.

The doctor said as long as your TSH is normal that is what

counts .......That indicated to me that yes she is a good OBYN

doctor but did not know anything about thyroid except TSH.
