Guest guest
Can I make a suggestion based on many trips to Disney and much experience. Rent an ECV and use it to get from place to place. Also you are not going to be able to do all those parks in 4 days. Disney World itself has 4 parks, Universal Studios 2 and Sea World. You will need to decide exactly which ones you wish to see. Do plenty of rest breaks and people watching. I did Disney during one of my worst flares last Christmas and it was crazy. I was miserable. Even the interpreters that know me told me later that they knew I was really sick. Fortunately I spent a lot of time watching shows and parades and little time on rides. Upcoming Vacation...HELP!! > My family has planned a 4 day trip to Disneyworld, Universal Studios, > and Seaworld. We already have the tickets, and they are non > refundable. Guest guest
An ECV is an electric conveyance vehicle more commonly known as a scooter. You can rent them at each of the parks. They run about $25 a day. I can see why you are doing MK but you are really going to miss some great stuff at Animal Kingdom and MGM. They have the most awesome parades. If you have another adult they can take the kids on the rides you shouldn't go on and you can rest. For more info on disabilities access go to the DIS. http://www.disboards.com You will find much information there as well as a bunch of crazy Disney nuts. Guest guest
It has been my experience that I ache a lot less... when I am in Florida. Take advantage of those benches at Disney. Don't abuse your body or feel guilty about taking time outs! Bring a shoe change! My feet usually give out first. Drink lots of water.... Take advantage of the area pools, but NOT the one at Sea World! You could wind up riding a killer whale! LOL Try to focus on the fun you will have and deal with the other situations as the do or don't happen! Have a great time!!
