Guest guest
Hi Everyone: I get this news letter and I thought I would share these three articles with you all. I think they are very well written and cantain a lot of information on MPS & FMS. May 1, 2002: * Devin Starlanyl on Headaches Due to Myofascial Trigger Points * Stealth-Adapted Viruses and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome * Physical Effort Does Not Automatically Lead to Worsening of Fibromyalgia Symptoms or Abnormal Physiological Responses Devin Starlanyl on Headaches Due to Myofascial Trigger Points There are many possible causes of headaches. For people with the hyper-aroused autonomic nervous system of Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS), sensitivity to noise, cold, heat and light can add to headache woes. http://go1.warp9ems.com/go.pl?tu=11740933-4840 Stealth-Adapted Viruses and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Stealth-adaptation is a mechanism that allows cytopathic viruses to evade immune elimination by deletion of genes coding the major antigens targeted by the cellular immune system. A prototype stealth-adapted virus, repeatedly cultured from a patient with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), was cloned and partially sequenced in this study. http://go1.warp9ems.com/go.pl?tu=11740933-4839 Physical Effort Does Not Automatically Lead to Worsening of Fibromyalgia Symptoms or Abnormal Physiological Responses Recent research has examined the altered function of the sympathetic nervous system (SNS) as part of the cause of fibromyalgia (FM). However, there are conflicting opinions of the SNS role in FM. What is consistent in these studies is that the SNS responses of subjects with FM undertaken during exercise indicated a blunted response. http://go1.warp9ems.com/go.pl?tu=11740933-4841 Tina winphal@... __________________________________________________

I know the autonomic nervous system is one of the reason's why I have problems with passing out. I am going to take this article with me to my cardio appt. and see what he (doctor) has to say. I know I read in one article sometime ago where it said that fms & neurocardiogenic sycope, but in all the books and my searches on the internet it never turned up anything. Thank you Tina. > >Devin Starlanyl on Headaches Due to Myofascial Trigger >>Points >>There are many possible causes of headaches.
