Guest guest
Dave, Thanks for sending these updates on conferences and the study papers. I sent the paper on nuclear receptors in cholestatic liver disease to my coordinator who forwarded it to my tx hep. He emailed me back and thanked me for the "light" reading and said he was reading it on the tarmac at the airport while he was waiting for his plane to leave. In conjunction with this (sort of) I discovered on Wed. during a visit to my tx surgeon that he along with my tx hep have been traveling some speaking to conferences on liver tx. The latest trip was to India. I thought it was amazing that my tx surgeon is German and tx hep is an Aussie but now I discover they have been making their mark around the world in the area of liver tx. I'm thankful to have such a great pair on my team. Blessings, Barby-KS
Guest guest
Hi Taru-Mari; No, I'm not making any plans to attend the Oslo conference. It would be nice to see and hear the latest research, but it would be very expensive, and I really can't " afjord " it :-} Glad to hear that Eemeli's Dr. will be there! Best regards, Dave R. Guest guest
Hi Dave R., I am not sure I I can " afjord " it either, I am trying to have a look in the chrystal ball and " see " if something else very expensive is coming up in the near future. Since Eemeli's dr will be in Oslo, I am sure the info from that conference will get to our region. The PSC Conference in Chicago would be patient info and support (but a tough trip), Oslo science & research - and if I wait long enough, I cannot go to either. Too bad Eemeli's ERCP is only next month, my mind tends to put everything on hold until I know how it goes. Taru-Mari T. it would be very > expensive, and I really can't " afjord " it :-} > > Glad to hear that Eemeli's Dr. will be there! > > Best regards, > > Dave R. >
