Guest guest
Dorothy, There are no "last stages of lupus" in so many words, however, with the kind of bruising you are describing, and other symptoms, it sounds like the woman may be in end state renal failure, in essence her kidneys may have failed. Also, with the platelet problem, she may need plasmapheresis to restructure her blood. Some of our members have experienced both of these stages, and have lived to tell about it. Perhaps one or more of them can help you with more info. Good luck, and I pray for that poor woman. Loving hugs, MM
Guest guest
I agree. There really is no "end stage" of lupus, but there may be combination of problems that have just piled one on top of the other. When major organs are starting to fail, you're in trouble.
