Guest guest
Hi, I got a blood test result yesterday that has me quite concerned. My doctor is out on vacation until next week and I can't ask her about it until then. The doctor at the lab wrote " atypical lymphocytes " on the report on my labs. From reading on the internet, this is often associated with mono nucleosis. I have had some mildly swollen lymp glands in my arm and neck, but I don't have a sore throat or most of the main symptoms of mono. Anyone here got any ideas about this lab report and what it could mean? My sister, who is a nurse, mentioned to me that apparently this is found sometimes with people who have fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome. Thanks, Jim
