Could be, but it also could be that under stressful conditions or heavy work

load when we need to actually USE that higher metabolism, we can't convert the

T4 that's there so we stall out till the next dose of Armour puts some T3 back

in there. I think it is very individual, and I have heard of people that did

well on Armour + T4, just as well as Armour + T3, and then there's those that do

great on just ARMOUR! I imagine conversion has alot to do with what we need when

we are working or stressed, or exercising. Those that can convert, and have

healthy enough adrenals to LET them, probably can cope better than those of us

that have poor conversion or tissue resistance.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and

cackling, telling me, " You're next. " They stopped after I started doing the

same thing to them at funerals

Well, Dr. Dommisse says that FT3/FT4 should be in balance and not

everyone does well with any one particular drug. You might find this

interesting: http://thyroid.about.com/library/weekly/aa110300a.htm

For me, my FT3 was lots lower than my FT4, so Armour might just

balance things out again.
