pain meds by RX--I know you are sick of this....venting

I have tried robaxin, amerge, imitrex, methergine, naprosyn, clioril,

orudis, sansert, DHE, vioxx, celebrex, tofranil, desyrel, bextra, sinequan,

elavil, wellbutrin, zoloft, compazine....and those are the ones I can think

of off the top of my head, I have a list of over 67 different meds i've

tried in the past 18 years for FMS--most have done more harm AND have not

worked... i've been to many doctors (13+) over the past 18 years for pain, I

have chronic migraines and often vomit from the pain, the doctors also tell

me antidepressants, NSAIDs, are the only treatment. If there is a way to

get doctors to prescribe an ACTUAL pain medication...I have no idea what it

is....i've even broken down in tears at the doctors office--they then assume

i'm 'depressed' and tell me to take a vacation and prescribe MORE

antidepressants! I believe that most doctors are like idiot savants...they

are very smart in certain ways...but, seriously lacking in humanity! I'm

afraid to go to the doctors office anymore......i'm afraid if I get told

'it's all in my head' or 'take a vacation', i'll SNAP!!! And I don't want

to give them any reason to write any more BS in my chart--on my 4 visits to

my last doctor (all for pain), she does not mention PAIN one time....she

almost cannot, will not or refuses to acknowledge my pain in any

way....instead she will address the vomiting, or the insomnia--but does not

mention that these are DUE TO the pain!!
