Guest guest
I've been on estrogen since 1977, when I had a hystrectomy. I was placed on the HRT because I had at that time 3 spinal fusions and didn't want the bone loss. The doctors have not mentioned my being on estrogen. They may not know, since it is a natural, compounded for me. I was told by the Hep doc in San Francisco that I was at risk for osteoporosis because my Vit D level was so low. She prescribed a Vit D supplement but nothing else was mentioned. I have been waiting over a month now for the Hep doc to call. She was going to get my CT Scan from Mayo, then call me. I phoned my GI doc yesterday, told them what the symptoms were, also that I started having the dry heaves again yesterday am, and was prescribed Feenergin for the nausea. Shouldn't my WBC be elevated if I am having cholangitis? I don't take my temp anymore. I had a low grade fever for over three years which finally went down in October. I normally run 97.6 but haven't been there since '05. Last time I took my temp, back in Oct. it was 98.6 which to the medical profession is normal. I see the GI doc next week and will start making him speak with me. I hadn't realized how awful docs are when you have a disease that can't be cut out or cured with immediate surgery. I can use all the help I can get, so Thank all of you again, Enid PS sorry about the spelling of some of the terms.
Guest guest
HI Enid, You should let your Liver specialist know you are on HRT, It doesn't make any difference if it's a " natural " compound made especially for you or not. Good luck with this.
