Hi,

I do not have ADD or ADHD, and the types of Fibro fog symptoms that I

have don't resemble either of those disorders. I have no problems

concentrating at all. I have no attention problems, or hyperfocusing

or anything like that. The only problems I have are more a tendency

to forget things now than I used to, and sometimes searching for

words because they just aren't readily available. I think people can

have these problems concurrently, just like some people have both

Fibro and Arthritis, but that they are not necessarily related.

Dear RJM,

My son was born with Sensory Intergrative Disorder...which (I

believe) evolved into ADHD. His father and all of his father's

immediate family have it! I have been told that I seem to have a

touch of it...out grown? I don't know. It never affected my nor my

son's intelligence.

I have always helped my son through behavior modification (not

treats nor threats!); and once a couple of years ago, his doctor

wanted to try Adderall...NEVER AGAIN! First it was that, then

something to wake up in the morning, and then something to help him

sleep...GEEZ!! I pulled him off of everything...and he became my son

again!

I am taking Adderall for energy and fatigue. It does help a lot. I find

that I can get a lot more done when taking it. It has been raised a bit as I

am going to London for a week with my daughter and twin 15 year old

granddaughters. I am going to need some extra energy.

We take taxis and I don't go to all of the places that they are going as I

have been going to Great Britain for over fifteen years so been there, saw

that and more than likely have the t -- shirt to prove it.

I don't see that it helps with fibro fog. I have not seen any difference and

I do have a bad problem with short term memory loss. I don't know if it has

helped others but not me.

Take care,

Irene
